The Contributor is an award-winning newspaper sold with dignity by our neighbors climbing out of homelessness. But how does it work? What does it accomplish?

Cathy Jennings is the Executive Director of The Contributor in Nashville TN, a street paper empowering our homeless neighbors to achieve income, dignity, housing, and community.   She currently serves as the chair of the Nashville Continuum of Care Shelter Committee and is on the North American Board of the International Network of Street Papers.  She has a BS in Finance and an MS in English. Previously, she was an English professor at Belmont University and Tennessee State University and has been a private business owner.
