Discover the Transformative Power of Small World Yoga: Liz Veyhl & Alex Fisher

Speaker Friday, June 14, 2024

On June 14th at 7:15 am, the Green Hills Rotary Club is thrilled to welcome Liz Veyhl, Founder and Executive Director, and Alex Fisher, Founding Board Member and yoga instructor, from Small World Yoga. This dynamic duo will provide an inside look into Nashville’s first and only nonprofit yoga studio and its mission to increase access to yoga across Middle Tennessee.

Small World Yoga has blossomed into a thriving donation-based community over the past decade, boasting over 100 yoga teachers at 75 partner locations. Veyhl and Fisher will share their inspiring journey, shedding light on how the organization has impacted diverse populations through private and public classes within the Nashville community.

A native Nashvillian, Veyhl’s passion for yoga transcends local boundaries. In 2013, while volunteering with the Africa Yoga Project in Kenya, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of making yoga accessible to all. Inspired by this experience, Veyhl returned home with a vision – to bring the same opportunities for growth and healing through yoga to her beloved city.

Since founding Small World Yoga in 2014, Veyhl’s determination has paved the way for remarkable milestones. Co-founding Baptiste Power Yoga Nashville, now the official teacher training school of Small World Yoga, has trained over 100 new instructors, establishing a sustainable model for community outreach.

Join us on June 14th as Veyhl, a certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga instructor (E-RYT 500), and Fisher, a founding board member and seasoned yogi, share their insights and experiences. Discover how Small World Yoga has transformed lives, fostered connections, and created a vibrant community centered around the ancient practice of yoga.
