As debates over public education intensify, some schools are quietly achieving extraordinary outcomes. Hillsboro High School stands among them—an International Baccalaureate World School fostering academic achievement through innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and strong community support. Dr. Danielle Holdren will share what it takes to guide students as they learn to be adults in a fast-changing world, from building university partnerships to nurturing a culture of academic achievement and personal growth.
Join the Green Hills Rotary Club on Friday, June 12, 2025, at 7:15 a.m. at the Boy Scout Service Center on Hillsboro Road for an insightful presentation by Dr. Danielle Holdren, Executive Principal of Hillsboro High School.
Dr. Danielle Holdren is entering her 20th year in education and has spent one year at Hillsboro High School, following a decade of leadership at Hillwood and James Lawson High Schools. At those schools, she served as the Freshman Academy principal and led the Health Science and Business Hospitality academies. Before becoming an academy principal, she was both a classroom teacher and a lead teacher. Dr. Holdren earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis, and her master’s degree in educational leadership and doctoral degree from Lipscomb University.
This presentation offers a unique opportunity to understand how one of Nashville’s premier public schools is preparing students for the academic, personal, and societal demands of adulthood in the 21st century.
