Speaker Friday, August 9, 2024

Are you curious about the future of healthcare? Want to learn about the vision that is shaping the industry? Join us at our upcoming meeting on August 9, 2024, where we will have the privilege of hearing from Jim Easter.

Jim Easter is an expert in healthcare planning, design, and construction. With a career spanning several decades, Jim has worked on a wide range of projects, including acute care facilities, medical schools, retirement communities, cancer hospitals, and children’s hospitals. His expertise has taken him around the world, and he is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), where he mentors young administrators.

During our meeting, Jim will be sharing insights on “Planetree – A Great Vision for The Future of Healthcare.” This visionary concept has attracted numerous hospitals in the USA, as they embrace the principles, vision, and mission set forth by the Planetree Association. The Planetree Association, founded in 1978, is a non-profit organization that promotes patient-centered care in healthcare settings. It advocates for a holistic approach that considers the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of patients, emphasizing personalized care, patient education, healing environments, and family involvement. By adhering to Planetree principles, hospitals aim to enhance patient experience, improve health outcomes, and create more satisfying work environments for healthcare professionals.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the trends for healthcare. Whether you’re a healthcare professional, a student, or simply interested in the industry, Jim’s presentation promises to be enlightening.

Join us at the Boy Scout Service Center in Green Hills at 7:15 am on August 9, 2024. This meeting is part of our ongoing series, where we aim to promote networking, share community trends, and broaden our understanding of the world around us.
