Kelli Nowers, Awake TN — Support to Women and Children

Advancing Justice and Equity in Tennessee.

The Green Hills Rotary Club is pleased to welcome Kelli Nowers, Executive Director of AWAKE TN, as our guest speaker at this Friday’s meeting on January 12th at 7:15am.

AWAKE TN is a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 with a mission to advocate for the advancement of women and young people in Tennessee through education and policy change.

Ms. Nowers will discuss AWAKE TN’s efforts to promote justice, human rights, and women’s participation in creating positive change locally and statewide. She will share details on their recent initiatives and impact.

Previously, Ms. Nowers spearheaded diversity, equity and inclusion programs for entrepreneurs at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. She also received a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics focused on improving conditions for women in conflict-affected regions globally.

Visitors are welcome to attend our weekly Friday morning meetings to network, serve the community, and become more informed global citizens. Please join us to learn from Ms. Nowers’ insights on advancing justice and equity in Tennessee.
