Every single one of us can remember a visit to a museum or science center – we might still remember a particular exhibit or something we learned. What you may not know is just how significant a museum’s impact can be on communities. Join me in learning a few facts and figures, listen to a few funny museum stories, and leave with a new appreciation for the folks beyond the curtain at your favorite cultural institution.
Leah M. Melber, Ph.D. has spent the last 33 years working in museums, science centers, zoos, aquariums and the out-of-doors connecting learners of all ages with science discovery and exploration.
