In a city experiencing rapid growth and national attention, understanding who shapes the narrative is more important than ever. As Nashville evolves, so does the way its stories are told. What happens behind the scenes of business journalism, and how does it influence the decisions of leaders, investors, and the broader community?
Join the Green Hills Rotary Club at 7:15 a.m. on April 24, 2026, at the Boy Scout Service Center on Hillsboro Road for an engaging presentation by Kelsey Cornillie, Publisher of the Nashville Business Journal. Cornillie will present “The Business of News and the Big Story of Nashville,” offering insight into how one of the nation’s most dynamic cities is covered during a time of significant transformation in the media industry.
A Florida native, Cornillie joined the Nashville Business Journal in January, following her role as Events Director at the Dallas Business Journal. She began her career with American City Business Journals after nearly five years at Downtown Dallas Inc., where she developed a strong foundation in business and civic engagement. Cornillie is recognized as a growth-focused leader who builds trust-based relationships across the business community, leads teams toward ambitious outcomes, and uses data-driven decision making to turn vision into action. She is passionate about connecting people, elevating meaningful stories, and strengthening the fabric of the business community.
