Nashville’s economy is evolving rapidly and depends increasingly on the strength of its diverse communities. As the oldest and longest-running Hispanic business nonprofit membership organization in Tennessee, the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is not simply a Hispanic advocacy organization. It is leading important conversations about workforce participation, small business growth, economic opportunity, and community integration—all of which are essential to Nashville’s long-term economic health and future prosperity.
Join the Green Hills Rotary Club on May 8, 2026, at 7:15 a.m. at the Boy Scout Service Center on Hillsboro Road for a timely presentation by Yuri Cunza, President and CEO of the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Cunza will discuss “Trends in Hispanic Business Ownership: What It Means for Nashville’s Economy” and examine how Hispanic entrepreneurship continues to influence the city’s workforce, business climate, and economic development.
Mr. Cunza works to advance economic opportunity, support small businesses, and strengthen connections across Nashville’s diverse business community. A business leader and seasoned multimedia professional, he is recognized for building bridges between cultures, industries, and sectors.
He previously served on the Board of Directors of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where he chaired the Government Affairs Committee and helped elevate the voice of Hispanic-owned businesses at the national level.
Recognized as one of the American Business Immigration Coalition’s Top 15 Impact Leaders of the Year, Mr. Cunza continues to focus on expanding economic growth, supporting entrepreneurs, and fostering partnerships that strengthen both local communities and broader regional and international business relationships.
This presentation will provide valuable insight into how demographic and entrepreneurial trends are shaping Nashville’s future. Business leaders, professionals, and community members interested in economic development, workforce growth, and the future of the region will find this discussion informative
