Discover the Path to Wellness: Healthy Parks, Healthy Person

On June 21st at 7:15 am, the Green Hills Rotary Club anticipates the arrival of Stacey Levine, Director of Healthy Parks Healthy Person, a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging Tennesseans to embrace a more active and healthy lifestyle through the great outdoors.

In an era where sedentary lifestyles and indoor pursuits have become the norm, Levine’s message resonates with urgency. She understands the profound impact that connecting with nature can have on our physical, mental, and emotional well-being – a truth that has never been more relevant than it is today.

Levine’s journey to this initiative is one of passion and purpose. After spending fifteen years as a practicing architect, she made a pivotal transition to community development, focusing on strengthening communities through asset-based health initiatives. Her role as the former Regional Director for the Governor’s Foundation for Health and Wellness further solidified her commitment to promoting wellness across Tennessee.

With her roots firmly planted in Dickson, Tennessee, where she was born and raised, Levine’s dedication to her community runs deep. In addition to her role with Healthy Parks Healthy Person, she actively contributes to various organizations, including the Dickson County Historical Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Dickson City Council, and the Dickson High Noon Rotary Club.

Join us on June 21st as Levine shares her passion for Healthy Parks Healthy Person and its mission to inspire Tennesseans to take their health into their own hands by embracing the great outdoors.
