Speaker Friday, November 1, 2024
Join us on November 1, 2024, for an engaging discussion into the critical question: “The Constitution – Will It Hold Up?” with William Koch, President and Dean of the Nashville School of Law.
Dean Koch brings a wealth of experience to the table. Before his tenure at NSL, he served on the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Tennessee Court of Appeals, earning recognition as one of the 500 Leading Judges in America and as Tennessee Appellate Judge of the Year. His accolades include the Tennessee Bar Association’s Justice Frank F. Drowota III Outstanding Judicial Service Award, as well as the Nashville Bar Association’s Liberty Bell Award.
Dean Koch’s educational background is equally impressive. He earned his B.A. degree from Trinity College, his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University, and his LL.M. from the University of Virginia. His academic contributions extend to teaching Constitutional Law and Tennessee Constitutional Law at the Nashville School of Law, as well as serving as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt School of Law and Belmont College of Law.
In addition to his judicial and academic achievements, Dean Koch is a prominent leader in the American Inns of Court movement. He currently chairs the Tennessee Trial Court Vacancy Commission and serves on the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct, as well as on the boards of Cumberland University, the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
We look forward to seeing you there at 7:15 am for what promises to be an enlightening morning.
