Eden Murrie — Supporting Middle TN’s Veteran Community

The Green Hills Rotary Club welcomes Eden Murrie, CEO of Operation Stand Down Tennessee, for our weekly meeting on Wednesday, March 22nd at 7:15am.

An Air Force veteran herself, Ms. Murrie will discuss the vibrant veteran ecosystem here in Middle Tennessee. She will provide an overview of Operation Stand Down’s critical mission to engage, equip and empower local military veterans and their families through support services and resources.

With nearly three decades of service, Ms. Murrie brings firsthand experience alongside her leadership driving Operation Stand Down’s impactful initiatives. The nonprofit connects veterans to employment assistance, housing resources, legal aid, and more to help enable successful transitions to civilian life.

Beyond her executive role, Ms. Murrie serves on several boards including Veteran Ventures Capital, Women’s Military Memorial Foundation, and the Davidson County Veterans Court Foundation among others.

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, she holds advanced degrees in political science, national security strategy, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Her passion for service continues through Operation Stand Down Tennessee.
